These organizations also work for the upliftment of the rural artisans and by encouraging craftsmanship and entrepreneurship through cottage industries keeping artisan's financial independence in the forefront of all other responsibilities. Most of these artisans had to let go off their age-old traditional crafts in their struggle for existence. So while these artisans preserve and develop their craft skills, they also manage to earn a decent livelihood for themselves and their loved ones and lead a better lifestyle.

CraftVogue has been working closely with these organizations, developing designs and bringing them together on a common platform. It thus provides them with not only a sustained source of income through “Fair Trade” but also helps in preserving the age old art and craft tradition of India which is otherwise slowly diminishing due to their constant struggle for survival.
